About the Scholarship Program:
This is a government-invited scholarship degree program aimed at fostering global talent and establishing international networks by inviting outstanding students from around the world. The Korean government provides international students with opportunities to study and offers various scholarship programs. South Korea’s representative scholarship program that aims to attract talented students worldwide to support their pursuit of degrees and more. Applications are now open for this year’s cohort and interested applicants are encouraged to apply.

Eligibility Criteria of the Scholarship Program:
Interested candidates for this scholarship program MUST fulfill the following criteria:
- Candidates and their parents must possess non-Korean citizenship.
- Applicants for this scholarship MUST be under 25
- Candidates must be in sound physical and mental health to undertake their studies in Korea.
- KGSP-Undergraduates: Applicants must have a High school diploma
- The cumulative grade point average (CGPA) should be 80% or higher; alternatively,
- The CGPA should be 2.64/4.0, 2.80/4.3, 2.91/4.5, or 3.23/5.0 or higher, or be in the top 20% of their class.
Scholarship Timeline:
The scholarship’s duration varies based on the program level:
- Undergraduate Program: 5-7 years (1 year of Korean language training plus 4-6 years of program study)
- Associate Degree: 3-4 years (1 year of language training + 2-3 years of degree program)
- Graduate Degree: 3 years (1 year of language + 2 years of Master’s degree)
- PhD Degree: 4 years (1 year of Korean language + 3 years of PhD degree)

Applications for the GKS scholarship program are open for entries until:
