UNN-USA Alumni Undergraduate Scholarship Program 2025

About the Scholarship Program:

Are you passionate about your education and looking for financial support to achieve your dreams? Our scholarship program is here to help you! University of Nigeria Alumni and Friends Association-USA (UNN-USA) is an organization dedicated to restoring and maintaining the dignity of University of Nigeria. The annual UNN-USA Scholarship Program is open till October 25, 2024. Please complete the application in full, including all the proper documentation requested.

Benefits of the Scholarship Program:

• Financial Assistance: Get the support you need to cover tuition, books, and other educational expenses.
• The UNN USA scholarship aims to award ten to fifteen scholarships yearly to UNN students.
• The scholarship covers tuition only, plus a stipend (total may not exceed 100,000 Naira).
• Recognition: Stand out with a prestigious scholarship on your resume.
• Opportunities: Open doors to networking, internships, and career growth.

Eligibility Criteria of the Scholarship Program:

Interested candidates for this scholarship program MUST fulfill the following requirements:

• Applicants MUST be registered citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
• Applicants MUST be current undergraduate students in UNN
• Applicants MUST have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 (GPA of 3.0 for students living with disabilities).
• Applicants MUST be First or final year students (by October 1, 2025)
• Previous recipients of this award are not eligible to apply.

Selection Criteria:

Successful candidates for the scholarship must have the following attributes;

• Show good character
• Outstanding academic competence
• Future promise in their respective fields of study
• Other extenuating circumstances, when necessary, may also be considered.

Supporting Documents:

• Most recent verified (Department, College, or University) GPA
• Students living with disabilities, please upload supporting document
• A copy of your registered courses for 2025 

Application Deadline:

Applications for the scholarship program are open for entries until the 6th of October, 2025. Early applications are highly encouraged.
