Kwara State Scholarship Board 2024/2025 Bursary & Scholarship Award

About the Scholarship Program:

His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kwara State Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has approved the payment of the 2024/2025 bursary and 2023/2024 scholarship awards to Kwara State indigenes in government-owned (state or federal) tertiary institution. The scholarship is designed to submit as many highly qualified students as possible who are having difficulties in their studies and require help. Eligible applicants are encouraged to take this opportunity to fund their studies and achieve their dreams.

Benefits of the Scholarship Program:

Winners of this scholarship program will receive the following benefits:

• Beneficiaries of the Kwara State Government Scholarship will be awarded a cash grant of ₦100,000
• The beneficiaries of the Kwara State Government Bursary will be awarded a cash grant of ₦10,000

Eligibility Criteria of the Scholarship Program:

Interested candidates for this scholarship MUST fulfill the following requirements:

• Applicants MUST be registered citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
• Applicants MUST be indigenes of Kwara State
• Applicants MUST currently be studying in a government approved public institution
• All levels and departments are eligible to apply

Supporting Documents:

• Passport photograph.
• Local Government Citizenship Certificate.
• Your last session results stamped and signed by the appropriate authority.
• Your Admission Letter.
• Your Institutional Valid I.D Card.
• Evidence of NAKSS due payment.

Registration Guidelines:

1. Login to Your AccountAfter validation, you will be required to login to your application portal to continue with the application process.
2. Fill The FormFill the form and upload all the required documents.Step-by-Step Guideline:
   1. Account Login: Login using your KWASRRA SSID and your NIN. You will not be able to log in if you have not registered with KWASRRA.
   2. Fill Bio-Data: Enter your personal details, including your full name, date of birth, gender, and contact information. Ensure all details are accurate before saving.
   3. Fill Academic Details: Provide the name of your tertiary institution, course of study, year of admission, and your current level.
   4. Upload Documents: Upload all required documents, including your passport photograph, local government citizenship certificate, evidence of NAKLAS/NAKSS due payment and your institutional valid I.D card. Ensure the files meet the specified format (e.g., PDF, JPEG, PNG).
   5. Application Review: Carefully review all the information you have provided to ensure it is complete and accurate. Once satisfied, click Submit Application to finalize the process.
3. Submit Your ApplicationAfter filling the form, verify all your details carefully from the summary page, submit your application and download the copy of your form.

Applications are open for entries until the 18th of September, 2025. Early applications are highly encouraged.
