Application FCM scholarship for undergraduate 2025 (How to apply)

The FCM Muslim scholarship is now open for undergraduate students who are eligible. If you are an undergraduate student schooling in Nigeria, this is a very good opportunity for you to get your academics fully funded. The foundation will be giving money to students who had proved to be academically eligible and at the same time grant mentorship to the students.

About the scholarship

The FCM Foundation Board Scholarship provides assistance for female undergraduate students at selected public universities in Nigeria, empowering the next generation of female leaders.

This scholarship initiative strives to support and enable young Muslim women to thrive academically and professionally.

FCM Foundation Board Scholarship (FCM FBS) is a new scholarship program designed to provide one-time academic assistance to female Muslim students in the 200 and 300 levels.

Participating Institutions for 2025 First Class Muslim Foundation Scholarship
The First Class Muslim Foundation scholarship is open to students from 14 eligible institutions (university, polytechnic, and college of education) in Nigeria.

Eligibility for the scholarship

To qualify for the undergraduate First Class Muslim Foundation Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Be a female undergraduate Muslim student.
Be currently at the 200 or 300 level at one of the 22 qualified colleges.
Have a minimum CGPA of 4.0 and higher (or equivalent).
Prepare to attend the one-day mentorship program in person in Lagos, Nigeria, in November 2024.

Required Documents for the FCM Foundation Board Scholarship 2025

When applying for the FCM Foundation Board Scholarship 2025, you will need to provide the following documents:

Student Identity Card (legal card from the applicant’s university)

Reference letter from a recognised Islamic organisation.

The letter must be on letterhead paper and sent to The Executive Director, First Class Muslim Foundation, Lagos, Nigeria.
Letters should be personalised and not generic.
Letters that are not properly addressed or are generic will be disqualified.
Current result slip indicating student’s CGPA with signature (and perhaps HOD stamp).
A personal statement explaining why she should be considered for the scholarship. The use of artificial intelligence systems to produce personal statements is prohibited. All submitted personal statements will be tested and reviewed for plagiarism or AI-derived content. Applicants who disrespect this may be rejected from current and future opportunities with the Foundation.
The word limit for the Personal Statement is 400.
The typeface is Century Gothic, and the size is 12.
The spacing should be 1.5.
Full name should be written at the top of the document.
