About the scholarship program:
Inoyo Toro Foundation is one of the few credible education foundations in Nigeria. The foundation recognizes and rewards distinctive and hardworking teachers and principals of public secondary schools through our Annual Award for Teaching Excellence. We are also involved in the mentoring of students in public secondary schools and tertiary institutions. The Foundation was established in 2007, in response to the need for private sector involvement in eradicating poverty through education and supporting educational development in Akwa Ibom state and Nigeria at large. Their commitment to teacher quality enhancement over the years has been recognized by the Akwa Ibom State government.
Accugas Limited, the midstream subsidiary of Savannah Energy, the British independent energy company focused around the delivery of Projects that matter, invites indigenes of Akwa Ibom State and Calabar Municipal, Odukpani and Akpabuyo LGAs in Cross River State who have secured admission into a university in Nigeria in the 2024/2025 academic session for a computer based screening test for its fully funded scholarship programme facilitated by Inoyo Toro Foundation.
Education is an important part of Savannah Energy’s corporate social responsibility and integral to our purpose, to meaningfully contribute to the economic development of our host communities in which we operate.
Eligibility Criteria for the scholarship program:
- Applicant MUST be a citizen of Nigeria
- Applicant MUST be an Indigene of Akwa Ibom State.
- Applicant MUST be a registered student of any government approved public institution in Nigeria
- Indigenes of Calabar Municipal, Odukpani and Akpabuyo LGAs (Local Government Area) in Cross River State who has gained admission in any University in Nigeria

Hard copy registration forms are available for pick-up at: Savannah Energy Office, Plot 9, NAIC House, Banking Layout, Udo Udoma Avenue, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State and Savannah Energy’s City Gate facility, off Calabar – Odukpani Highway, Calabar Municipal Area, Cross River State.
