NNPC EMOIMEE SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME 2024

About the scholarship program:

NNPC Emoimee Scholarship Scheme offers 400,000 Naira annually to young Nigerian students in a bid to illuminate their paths for individuals to contribute positively to society. The NNPC MPN JV Emoimee Scholarship scheme reflects the organization’s dedication to addressing societal challenges by nurturing local talent. The NNPC/MPN JV EMOIMEE – Host Community Development Trust (HCDT) Ikot Abasi LGA
is a product of Petroleum Industry Act, Pursuant to the implementation of this act
therefore, we wish to inform the people of Ikot Abasi Local Government Area of the
commencement of scholarship scheme to students both public and private institutions
in Nigeria. This scheme is drawn from 5 years development plan of NPPC/MPN JV in
accordance with Petroleum Industry Act (PIA).

Eligibility Criteria for the scholarship program:

Applicants looking to apply for the NNPC EMOIMEE SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME should fulfill the following requirements:

• Eligibility Criteria:
  • The scheme is open to all Indigenous individuals from Ikot Abasi Local Government Area (LGA) enrolled in any accredited tertiary institution (private or public) within Nigeria.
  • Qualified applicants must be admitted students of an accredited/recogreed tertiary institution in Nigeria.
  • Qualified applicants should have completed a session in his/her institution
• Academic Requirements:
  • Applicants must possess a minimum of Second Class Lower for universities, Upper Credit for polytechnics/Colleges of Nursing, and Merit for Colleges of Education.
• Exclusivity
  • Applicants must not currently enjoy any other form of scholarship, and this condition must be upheld throughout the duration of the scheme.
• Character and Conduct:
  • Applicants must not belong to any cult or clandestine groups and should possess a character beyond reproach.
• Consequences of Violation:
  • Violation of any stated condition will result in the immediate cessation of scholarship benefits.

Conditions for the award of the NNPC Emoimee scholarship scheme:

• Qualified applicants should have completed a session in his/her institutions
• In pursuant of academic excellence, applicants with a good cumulative
  grade point average (CGPA) would be a advantage.
• The candidate should be of good character.
• Successful applicants must maintain a good cumulative grade point
  average (CGPA) in order to remain in the scheme as periodic review of
  academic performances will be undertaken.
• The number of benefitting applicants of scholarship would be determined
  by the funds allotted to the scheme.

Scholarship benefits:

• The NNPC/MPN JV EMOIMEE Scholarship is a N400,000.00 annual award scheme to all eligible and successful candidates.
• The award is renewable until graduation upon satisfactory academic performance.

Application timeline:

Application forms for the NNPC Emoimee scholarship scheme will be available from the 18th of November, 2024 and will close on the 2nd of December, 2024.
