About the scholarship program:
The Murtala Muhammed Foundation, in partnership with the African Science Academy, is offering a funded scholarship program to support young women in STEM-related fields across African universities. This 2025 Murtala Muhammed Foundation Scholarship aims to provide financial support to eligible candidates who demonstrate a keen interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines

Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicant MUST be an African female,
- Applicant MUST be between the ages of 16–19
- Applicant MUST have completed high school (or equivalent) by July 2024
- Applicant MUST have strong grades in Physics & Mathematics (A or B in WAEC or equivalent)
- Applicant must be able to demonstrate passion about STEM.

- Letter of recommendation from a math or science teacher (optional)
