This program supports students who want to study for an Undergraduate Degree, Masters Degree, MPhil, or PhD in Mauritius. Successful applicants will study at one of the approved public universities in the country.

What the Scholarship Covers
This scholarship is fully funded. It includes:

Eligible Applicants
This scholarship is open to:
- Citizens of any African Union member state
- Students who are applying for full time on campus study in Mauritius
Age requirements:
- Undergraduate applicants must be 18 to 26 years old by 1 January 2027
- Masters and MPhil applicants must also fall within the same age group or slightly higher depending on program rules
- PhD applicants must not be older than 40 by 1 January 2027
A good academic record is important. Applicants must also meet the entry requirements of their chosen university in Mauritius.

How to Apply
- Download the application form and guidelines from your national nominating agency, usually your Ministry of Education.
- Fill out the form clearly. Attach your academic transcripts, birth certificate or passport, and any other required documents.
- Apply to a Mauritian public university and include proof of application or admission.
- Submit your scholarship application to your country’s nominating agency for official endorsement.
- Your nominating agency will forward your application to Mauritius for final selection.
