About the scholarship program:
The Harvesters African Empowerment Foundation is a non-profit, established to improve the quality of life of economically disadvantaged people across Africa, by providing empowerment opportunities. This empowerment is aimed at inspiring virtuous circles of prosperity, opportunity and human development, to support the continent’s trajectory toward economic growth and transformation. Its vision is to employ broader measures of human development through Education, Entrepreneurship support, Feeding programs and support for IDPs to touch lives of whole generations of Africans through provision of opportunities for self-development and growth for poverty alleviation and its mission is to improve quality of lives, contribute to poverty reduction, act on insights regarding vulnerabilities on employment, foster development, pursue structural reforms and create wealth for the economically challenged people across Africa, through Education, Entrepreneurship support, Feeding programs and support for IDPs.
The Harvesters African Empowerment Foundation’s board is composed of successful business leaders who have worked tirelessly throughout their careers to create a culture of inclusion and expand access to opportunity. At this Foundation, It is believed that sustainable change is achieved through collaboration and it is on this premise that the foundation has put together a scholarship program to assist underprivileged well deserving candidates in the society with a motive to reduce the rate of out of school children in communities. he Harvester’s Scholarship Fund is a financial support program designed to benefit undergraduates in universities across Africa. The funds are used to defray the costs of tuition, books, room, board, and other expenses directly tied to a student’s educational cost through the university.
The foundation also offer the Harvesters hub as a cross-sector space open to small and medium business owners in Africa. This Hub creates an environment where members/users will leverage each others’ skills and wealth of business experiences to support each other and navigate increasingly complex business challenges, ensuring that every user’s success is inextricably intertwined.

Eligibility Criteria for the scholarship program:
- Applicants MUST be between the ages of 18-28 years
- Applicants MUST be an undergraduate student studying in an accredited public University in Nigeria
- Applicants MUST be studying an accredited course
- Applicants MUST have a CGPA of not less than 3.0/5.0 or its equivalent in a 7.0 CGPA system.
