Grooming People for Better Livelihood Centre, popularly known as Grooming Centre, is a Nigerian NGO founded in December 2006 and registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission under CAC/IT/NO 24198.
The organisation was established to address limited access to financial services among economically active poor people involved in small-scale trading and microproductive activities in Nigeria.
Grooming Centre describes itself as a national institution with an international perspective, focused on mobilising resources and providing financial services to entrepreneurial people who have little or no access to conventional financial services.
Its operations draw on global best-practice approaches developed by ASA Bangladesh, which were introduced to Nigeria through the UNDP-assisted MicroStart programme.
