About the Scholarship Program:
The Honourable Minister of Education (HME), Prof. Maman Tahir, hereby invites interested and qualified Nigerians to participate in the 2025/2026 Nomination Computer-Based Test (CBT) for the Federal Government Scholarship Award. The Federal Scholarship Board ensures that deserving Nigerian Scholars are awarded with foreign and local scholarships. It is also saddled with the responsibility of fulfilling commitments to Multilateral Education Agreement, Education Bursary Award, and Bilateral Education Agreement (BEA).

Benefits of the Scholarship Program:
- The scholarship covers-
- Under-Graduate Scholars: ₦300,000 per annum (National Award & Education Bursary)
- Post-Graduate Scholars: ₦450,000 per annum,
- HND: ₦150,000 per annum and NCE: ₦150,000 per annum.
- The scholarship is tenable in Nigeria and takes effect from the beginning of the academic session.
Eligibility Criteria of the Scholarship Program:
Applicants for the 2025 FSB Scholarship Program MUST fulfill the following requirements:
- Applicants MUST be a registered Full-Time student of Federal or State Universities.
- Applicants MUST possess a minimum of first degree with Second Class Honours Division (Postgraduate students).
- Applicants MUST be registered full-time students in their second year or above in Federal or State Universities, Polytechnics, Monotechnics, and Colleges of Education
- Applicants MUST have at least 4.0 Cumulative Grade Points Aggregate (CGPA) on a five (5) point scale or its equivalents or 5.0 on a 7-point scale (UG, HND & NCE).
- Applicants MUST have a CGPA of 3.5 and above on a scale of 4.0 (NCE/HND Applicants)
- Applicants MUST not hold the scholarship at the same time with another Award nor for part-time studies.
- Applicants MUST not change course or institution while enjoying the award.

Urgent Plea.
Good day Sir/madam. We were offered scholarship from Federal Scholarship Board (FSB). We are Students from Federal University Lokoja. The scholarship award started from 2024, but currently no payment has been made to that effect. The desk officer came to our school, and he did what he called verification by taking our signature, and some documents, but no payment has been made till now. We are still looking up.
Please, kindly help us to look into it. Thank you Sir/Madam
