About the Scholarship Program:

Fast Credit Finance Company Limited (FCL) is a leading financial institution duly licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria to provide financial services. FCL commenced its operations in August 2014, offering various investment and loan products to both public and private sector employees and Small and Medium Sized enterprises. Over the years, Fast Credit has significantly evolved with the main priority being the provision of exceptional services to its customers. In view of this, FCL has invested in various state of the art financial technologies, starting with its migration to Temenos T24, a world-class Core Banking Application, and the deployment of a 360-degree customer onboarding application which has redefined customer experience to ensure that customers are served within the shortest possible time. Similarly, Fast Credit embarked on a Fintech journey and has recently launched various customer-centric digital banking channels, such as its mobile app and USSD service.

The program is an avenue for rewarding our loyal customers by supporting the education of their children/wards with an aim to promote academic excellence and improve the skills of young Nigerians, by providing scholarship(s) of N250,000 for each of the 40 successful applicants. Eligible candidates must be undergraduates of accredited courses in a Nigerian Institution of higher learning.

Benefits of the Scholarship Program:

Winners of the scholarship award will receive the following benefits:

• N250,000 per awardee
• Total of 40 awardees to be selected from each of the 36 states of the country including the F.C.T

Eligibility Criteria of the Scholarship Program:

Interested candidates for this scholarship MUST fulfill the following requirements:

• Applicants MUST be a Nigerian citizen. 
• Applicants MUST Currently be enrolled for study in an accredited Nigerian institution.
• Applicants MUST open a Fast Credit Account
• The applicant’s parent or guardian must be a new or existing Fast Credit borrowing customer currently serving in the Nigerian Police Force.
• Applications are open to all students of accredited Nigerian tertiary institutions – 3.7 minimum CGPA is required.

Selection Criteria of the Scholarship Award:

• Application MUST be received not later than the specified deadline via the scholarship portal ONLY. 
• Only candidates that meet the eligibility criteria will be engaged.
• Only the top 40 candidates will be shortlisted from each of the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory for academic verification prior to scholarship offer.
• Candidates with falsified results will be disqualified. 
• Applications are open to all students of accredited Nigerian tertiary institutions – 3.7 minimum CGPA is required. 
• Only candidates that have successfully satisfied the above criteria will be contacted to receive the scholarship award.

• Admission letter
• Most recent transcript or last semester result showing CGPA
• Personal statement
• Student ID Card
• Parent’s Police Service ID card – IPPIS (to confirm eligibility)
• A recent passport photograph

Application Deadline:

Applications for the FCL scholarship award 2025 are open for entries until the 30th of September, 2025. Early applications are highly encouraged.

NOTE:

The scholarship application is FREE.

Fast Credit does not require you to make any payment in the course of this application.

Any candidate found to have presented false documents will be disqualified at any level of the scholarship process.The merit-based scholarship is open to undergraduates studying within Nigerian accredited institutions.
