The 2026 CBIAS Graduate Scholarship supports master’s students conducting ageing research using the e-Delphi methodology.

Eligibility

Applicants must:

  • Be a citizen or permanent resident of a Sub-Saharan African country
  • Be in the first year of a master’s programme
  • Conduct research related to ageing using the e-Delphi methodology

Scholarship Award

Four awards are available:

  • 1 award for East Africa
  • 1 award for South Africa
  • 2 awards for West Africa

Each selected applicant receives CAD $250.

Chukwudi Ogbueche Memorial ERPAAN Award

The Chukwudi Ogbueche Memorial ERPAAN Award is a yearly memorial award established to honour Chukwudi Ogbueche and recognise excellence in gerontological and geriatric physiotherapy.

Eligibility

The award is for the top student in the gerontological/geriatric physiotherapy course at Nnamdi Azikiwe University.

Award Value

₦100,000

The award is presented yearly.
