About the Scholarship Program:
The Barau Jibrin foundation is dedicated to fostering academic excellence and providing educational opportunities to deserving graduate of Kano state. The foundation under the leadership of the His excellency, Senator (Dr.) Barau Jibrin, CFR, the deputy president of the Senate has recently sponsored 70 students for their master’s degree program abroad. Building on this commitment, we are pleased to announce our domestic postgraduate scholarship programme for the 2025/2026 academic session and invite applications from qualified individuals.
This initiative aims to support 300 outstanding graduated from recognized universities to pursue their postgraduate studies at selected universities within the country.

Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicants must be below 35 years of age at the time of application
- Applicant must have a first degree in computer science, engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or related disciplines.
- Applicant MUST have a CGPA of 3.5 and above in a 5.0 scale
- O’level credits: Five O level credits including English and Mathematics
