Why This Opportunity Matters (Especially for Nigerian Creatives & Researchers)

  1. Nigeria is full of thinkers, storytellers, and young professionals who want to build things that last—but most lack the funding and mentorship to make it happen. The Archiving Fellowship 2026 changes that reality by offering not just financial support but creative freedom and national visibility.
  2. Getting ₦1 million monthly to focus on your storytelling, research, or tech project is rare. It’s more than a stipend. it’s validation that your voice and ideas have weight. The fellowship helps you turn local stories, archives, and innovations into something that can shape how the world sees Nigeria.
  3. This type of programme blends three strong interests: career growth, financial empowerment, and creative impact.

When you write or read about this fellowship, it’s not just about applying for funding; it’s about owning your story, using technology to preserve it, and getting paid while doing meaningful work.
