About the Scholarship Program:
The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Lagos Section (Section 61), in partnership with FIRST Exploration & Petroleum Development Company, is pleased to announce that applications are now officially open for the 2025/2026 400 Level Undergraduate Scholarship Program. This annual initiative supports outstanding 400 Level students studying energy-related disciplines in Nigerian universities. Through academic support and mentorship opportunities, SPE Lagos remains committed to nurturing the next generation of energy professionals.

Eligibility Criteria for the Scholarship Program:
Interested applicants in the SPE Undergraduate Scholarship Program 2025 MUST fulfill the following requirements:
â–ª Applicants MUST be a current 400 Level student in one of the 10 SPE Lagos Student Chapter universities
â–ª Applicants MUST be enrolled in an energy-related course (e.g., Engineering, Geosciences)
â–ª Applicants MUST have demonstrated academic excellence and leadership potential

Applications for the SPE Undergraduate Scholarship Program 2025 are open for entries until June 21, 2025. Early applications are highly encouraged.
