About the Scholarship Program:
Ruth Titilayo (Iya Taiwo) was born in 1952, attended Abeokuta Girls Grammar School and the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. She was very passionate about education. She was even more passionate about helping the less privileged. On the 20th anniversary of her death at 50, it is only natural that these two passions birth the Ruth Titilayo Foundation. Whilst this is a new venture for us all, the core tenets have always been there, helping others is in our DNA. Ruth Titilayo Educational Foundation is pleased to offer a scholarship awarded to successful candidates who are currently in state secondary schools in Nigeria.
