GEAF Ambassador Programme 2027

Scholarship Details

The Green Earth Action Foundation (GEAF) is inviting applications for its 2027 Ambassador Programme, a six-month international initiative for individuals passionate about addressing environmental and climate challenges in their communities.

The programme provides selected ambassadors with funding to implement local environmental projects, expert mentorship, capacity-building opportunities and access to a growing international network of sustainability advocates.

Applicants from Nigeria and other countries are welcome to apply.

Programme Benefits

Successful applicants will become part of the GEAF Ambassador Cohort and receive:

• Environmental project funding: Support to design and implement approved community-based environmental initiatives.
• Personalised mentorship: One-to-one project management guidance and support from the GEAF team.
• Expert-led training: Capacity-building sessions delivered by specialists in environmental protection and sustainability.
• Communication support: Ready-to-use templates, on-demand design assistance, and guidance on messaging and storytelling.
• Global networking: Opportunities to connect, learn and exchange ideas with ambassadors from previous and current cohorts.

Previous training sessions have involved representatives from organisations including the International Labour Organization (ILO), International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD), UNEP, UNDP, WIPO, SAIIA and other institutions.
