Pro. Dr. Gabriel Olubunmi Fakeye Scholarship & Bursary Award 2027
The Pro. Dr. Gabriel Olubunmi Fakeye (GOF) Scholarship & Bursary Award is now open for applications from eligible indigent members of the Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church, Surulere District and its branches, who are pursuing undergraduate education in Nigerian public tertiary institutions.
The programme is established in honour of Pro. Dr. Gabriel Olubunmi Fakeye and is aimed at supporting dedicated church members in their undergraduate education.

About the Award
The Pro. Dr. Gabriel Olubunmi Fakeye Scholarship & Bursary Award is designed to support dedicated members of the church in pursuing their undergraduate education.
The programme provides two forms of financial support:
Scholarship Award
Two (2) beneficiaries will receive scholarships of:
₦300,000 each
Applicants must have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 to qualify for the Scholarship Award.
Bursary Award
Forty (40) beneficiaries will receive bursary awards of:
₦100,000 each
Applicants must have a minimum CGPA of 3.0 to qualify for the Bursary Award.
Eligibility Requirements
To apply, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Be an indigent member of the Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church, Surulere District and its branches.
- Be studying in a Nigerian public tertiary institution.
- Be pursuing undergraduate education.
- Have a minimum CGPA of 3.0 for the Bursary Award.
- Have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 for the Scholarship Award.
Required Documents
Applicants are required to prepare and upload the following:
- Admission letter.
- Last academic result/current CGPA, signed by an authorised officer of the institution.
- Recommendation letter from your Branch Leader. If the recommendation letter is unavailable, the applicant should state the reason.
- Passport photograph.
File Requirements
Academic result/admission letter: PDF, DOC or DOCX — maximum 5MB.
Recommendation letter: PDF, DOC or DOCX — maximum 5MB.
Passport photograph: JPG, PNG or JPEG — maximum 5MB.

- Confirmed that you are a member of the Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church, Surulere District/branches.
- Confirmed that you are studying at a Nigerian public tertiary institution.
- Confirmed your current CGPA.
- Confirmed that you meet the 3.0 CGPA requirement for the Bursary Award or 3.5 requirement for the Scholarship Award.
- Prepared your admission letter.
- Obtained your latest academic result showing your current CGPA.
- Ensured the academic document is signed by an authorised officer of your institution.
- Obtained a recommendation letter from your Branch Leader, or prepared a reason explaining why it is unavailable.
- Prepared your passport photograph.
- Ensured all uploaded files meet the required format and 5MB maximum file size.
- Completed your application before 4 December 2026.

- Verification & Screening

- Examination & Interview
A panel reviews the applications.
Shortlisted candidates are invited for an examination and interview, after which award decisions are made.
- Disbursement
Approved awards are processed and paid directly to beneficiaries through the bank details they provide.
Important Award Information
2 Scholarship beneficiaries: ₦300,000 each.
40 Bursary beneficiaries: ₦100,000 each.
Scholarship applicants require a minimum 3.5 CGPA.
Bursary applicants require a minimum 3.0 CGPA.

How to Apply
The Pro. Dr. Gabriel Olubunmi Fakeye Scholarship & Bursary Award 2027 provides financial support to 42 eligible beneficiaries pursuing undergraduate education in Nigerian public tertiary institutions.
Two students will receive ₦300,000 scholarships each, while 40 students will receive ₦100,000 bursary awards each.
