About the Scholarship Program:
Presently, it costs $210 to register for the GRE, a fee many students in Nigeria and other African countries would find too high to afford due to current economic realities and financial constraints. Therefore, The CABLE GRE Scholarship is offering to cover the $210 fee to register for the Graduate Record Examination to boost your chances of studying in the USA, Canada, or Australia. This year, CABLE Nigeria will be supporting 10 students to cover the cost of the GRE for their future academic endeavours.It has become the culture of the organization to support young and energetic students across Africa for the Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) that will enable them to gain admission in the US and other good first-world countries’ schools. To this effect, we call on purpose-driven students across Africa to apply for this scholarship.
Benefits of the Scholarship Program:
Recipients of this scholarship will receive:
- Full payment for the GRE fee
- 10 students to be recipients of the scholarship
Eligibility Criteria of the Scholarship Program:
Interested candidates for this scholarship program MUST fulfill the following criteria:
- Applicants MUST be a registered citizen of an African country
- Applicants MUST come from very low-income families with household incomes that fall significantly below the National average, rendering them unable to afford the GRE fees
- Applicants MUST have completed their undergraduate degree at an accredited institution before the applicationÂ
- Applicants MUST be intending to enroll in a graduate program within a year of applying for the scholarship.Â
- Applicants MUST be planning to pursue further education.abroad
