About the Scholarship Program:
Senator Sunday Steve Karimi , a dedicated leader with a vision for progress, has tirelessly championed policies that uplift communities and empower individuals. His commitment inspires trust and drives positive change across the nation. He is a Nigerian Politician and an Engineer by profession. He is the Committee Chairman, Senate Services of the Tenth Senate. He was born on the 10th March, 1962 in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area, Kogi State. He studied Production Engineering (Distinction) at Kwara State College of Technology, Ilorin in 1979.
From a humble beginnings, shaped by the diversity of his challenges while growing up and toughened with the reality of his life deprivations with the facts of the disadvantages thrown up by the ethnic, social and economic stratifications, he was driven by passion to making a difference. Based on this premise, he has now committed to making an impact in education through the funding of underprivileged students from various tertiary institutions.

Eligibility Criteria of the Scholarship Program:
Interested and eligible candidates should fulfill the following requirements:
- Applicants MUST be registered citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
- Applicants MUST be registered students of a tertiary institution in Nigeria
- Applicants MUST be from Kogi-West
