About the Scholarship Program:

Founder of the David Oyedepo Foundation (DOF), Dr. David Oyedepo had his early schooling in Nigeria before going on to acquire a PhD in Human Development from the University of Hawaii at Honolulu. He is also the founder and president of the umbrella non-profit David Oyedepo Ministries International, which gave rise to the Living Faith Church, among other things. The David Oyedepo Foundation is a Christian nonprofit dedicated to displaying the love of Christ to the world by creating platforms that will transform the continent of Africa’s economy. The David Oyedepo Foundation scholarship program offers full scholarships to deserving citizens of African nations and residents. The program aims to cultivate young leaders who are prepared to use their newly acquired abilities to guide organizations, communities, and their home nations. Students are given the chance to study at Covenant and Landmark University in Nigeria thanks to the scholarship.

This scholarship is meant for undergraduate students and the following are the beautiful and amazing benefits of the David Oyedepo Foundation Scholarship Program.

  • The scholarship covers full tuition fees for a term up to 5 years in maximum duration and also in accordance with the duration of the course you’re studying.
  • It does not cover travel allowance
  • Feeding allowance
  • Medical/Health allowance

Eligibility Criteria for the Scholarship Program:

Before applying for the David Oyedepo Foundation scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements;

  1. Be citizens and permanent residents of Nigeria or any other country in Africa.
  2. Be at least age 16 and not exceeding 25 at the time of application submission.
  3. Applicants must be well-proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English. This is a very important requirement.
  4. Demonstrate an outstanding academic track record during their time in secondary school. This is benchmarked by:
    • A minimum of 20 marks above JAMB official cut-off marks. This criterion applies to Nigerians only.
    • A minimum of 80% or 4.0 GPA/5.0 in secondary or high school transcript.

Supporting Documents:

Immediately after the deadline date for applications, the selection panel will review all the qualified applicants and conduct an interview for them through an online video conference and if you qualify to the final round, you’re to provide this following;

  1. Your proof of application to Covenant University or Landmark University
  2. Your proof of citizenship
  3. All the original copies of documents you uploaded during your  application process.
  4. The proof of a record of superior scholastic ability
  5. A displayed financial need
  6. An outstanding character
  7. Proof of a record of leadership and community involvement
  8. A commitment to influence home community with the skills you have learnt

Application Deadline:
