NESTLE NIGERIA SCHOLARSHIP 2024/2025

About the scholarship program:

Nestlé Nigeria has officially opened applications for its annual Scholarship Program, reaffirming its commitment to supporting high-achieving senior secondary and tertiary students from communities around its operations. This scholarship is aimed at improving the lives of students all around Nigeria by providing them with funding to support their academic journey. This initiative is also aimed at students pursuing Science and Technology studies, providing financial support covering tuition, accommodation, uniforms, books, and other essential educational needs.

Speaking on the essence of the Nestle Nigeria scholarship, Victoria Uwadoka, Corporate Communications, Public Affairs, and Sustainability Lead for Nestlé Nigeria, highlighted the company’s dedication to creating shared value, linking Nestlé’s success to the prosperity of its communities. She encouraged scholarship recipients to maintain high academic standards, stating, “These scholarships reflect our unwavering dedication to investing in the future of our youth. At a time when economic challenges place added strain on families nationwide, we’re proud to provide meaningful financial support that eases this burden. By investing in education, we’re not only empowering individual students but also fostering the growth and prosperity of our entire community.”

Since the program’s inception in 2020, Nestlé has continuously extended support to students in its host communities, ensuring they have the resources to excel academically.

This year, 90 indigenes will receive grants amounting to N18 million. As Nestlé continues to invest in educational opportunities, it remains focused on nurturing young talent, fostering academic excellence, and shaping a brighter future for Nigeria’s next generation of leaders and innovators.

Eligibility criteria for the Nestlé Nigeria Scholarship:

• Tertiary Category
  • This application is open to 100-level students of accredited Universities and Polytechnics studying Science and Technical Courses only.
  • Candidates should have obtained 5 credits in WASSCE OR NECO SSCE in one sitting in Maths, English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology and at least 200 in UTME/JAMB

• Senior Secondary Category
• Awards Only for SS1 students in Science and Technical classes in the following schools:
  • Owode High School, Owode
  • Remo Secondary School, Sagamu
  • Methodist Comprehensive College, Sagamu
  • Federal Government Girls College, Sagamu

• Applicants MUST have obtained 5 credits in BECE (JSS33) exams, in specific subjects including Maths, English and Basic Science.
• This scholarship is open exclusively to indigenes or residents of
• Agbara
• Abaji
• Manderigi
• Obafemi Owode and
• Sagamu communities in Ogun State

Applications for the Nestle Nigeria scholarships are open from the 8th of November and will accept applications until the 8th of December 2024.
