- High school students.
- Homeschool students.
- College and university students.
- Postgraduate students.
- Individuals with project ideas.
- Teams developing a joint solution.
- The programme states that it seeks to be accessible regardless of age, disability, or background. However, student status is a fundamental eligibility requirement; this is not a general grant open to everyone regardless of whether they are a student.
Post-secondary students are invited to indicate their current funding levels in their application. This information helps the funder distribute available funding more equitably.
- Applicants may submit up to two different ideas simultaneously. The same project may receive continued funding, so applicants do not need to submit multiple applications for the same idea.

How to Apply
- 1The application process has two main stages.
- 2Step 1: Complete the online application
Describe your idea by answering the seven required questions in the online form. You can also answer 21 optional questions to provide additional details about your proposed solution.
A strong application should make clear what problem you want to address, how your idea will help prevent child and youth abuse or support survivors, and how the requested funding will contribute to the project's impact.
- 3Step 2: Participate in an interview if invited
Individuals and teams with complete, successful applications will be contacted and invited to proceed to the interview stage.
The organisation may also conduct follow-up interviews with individual members of a team. Interview questions are tailored to each application and are not released in advance, so every team member should be prepared to explain the project.
- 4Step 3: Respond to any requests for clarification
During the review process, applicants may be asked to clarify information through text communications.
The organisation states that it acknowledges receipt of applications within one week. On average, the first interview takes place within the first two months after submission. These are typical timelines rather than guaranteed dates
How to Write a Strong Application
- 5The funder recommends answering as many of the optional questions as possible, in addition to the seven required questions.
- 6To strengthen your application:
- 7Explain the problem your project intends to solve.
- 8Show how the idea will prevent abuse or support children and young people who have experienced abuse.
