About the scholarship:

Application for the 2024-2025 university scholarship for indigent students of Oke-ogun area of Oyo state, Nigeria is now open. The forum for Oke ogun progress (FFOP) is a social developmental Organization that seeks to support the growth and development of human and non-human resources in Oke- Ogun area, Oyo State and beyond for the overall national socio-economic development. The forum for Oke – Ogun Progress (FFOP) scholarship opportunity in conjunction with PA KAREEM ALAO EDUCATION SUPPORT SCHEME as well as Forum for Grassroot Progress (FGP) is for students of public universities in Nigeria who are descendants of Oke – Ogun Area of Oyo State and who have gained admission into their preferred course of study and institution.

Eligibility criteria:

Applicant MUST be a newly admitted student of any public government owned tertiary institution in Nigeria.
Applicant MUST be an indigene of Oke-Ogun area, Oyo State.
Applicant MUST fall under the following local government areas
- Olorunsogo
- Irepo
- Oorelope
- Saki-East
- Saki-West
- Atisbo
- Itesiwaju
- Iwajowa
- Kajola
- Iseyin.

Letters of recommendation from two referees
WAEC/NECO results with at least 5 distinctions.
JAMB results
Admission letters
Proof of indigeneship
Proof of Indigency from the Head of your Community or Religious Institution
