About the scholarship program:
Binance, has partnered with tech talent acquisition company, AltSchool Africa, to provide full tuition scholarships for 500 young Africans. This was disclosed in a statement by the crypto exchange seen by Technext. According to the statement, the collaboration is aimed at addressing the digital skills gap in Africa by offering Africans access to specialized education in various specialized fields. These fields include software engineering, cybersecurity, sales and content creation. The education will also focus on empowering learners with skills that are essential in today’s rapidly evolving job market.
It will also enable recipients to participate in AltSchool Africa’s structured programs, designed to foster in-demand digital skills and position African youth for success in a global digital economy.

The Binance AltSchool Tech Scholarship is available for the following programs;

Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the Binance Tech Scholarship, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:
- Applicant MUST be a registered citizen of Nigeria
- Applicant MUST be a Binance user from Nigeria who has completed identity verification
- Applicant MUST be applying the for AltSchool program as this is the basis of the scholarship.
