Fully Open: ARA Foundation ₦1 Million Research Grant for Nigerian Biomedical Researchers

The Adewuyi Research Animal Foundation (ARA Foundation) has officially opened its January–February 2026 Research Grant Phase, offering Nigerian biomedical researchers the opportunity to share in a ₦1,000,000 Research Animal Grant.

This grant is designed to support animal-based biomedical research across Nigerian tertiary institutions and encourage ethical, high-quality scientific investigations.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

  • Must be a citizen of Nigeria
  • Open to biomedical researchers (both undergraduate and postgraduate)
  • Applicants must be enrolled in any Nigerian tertiary institution
  • Researchers from all biomedical disciplines are eligible
  • Having ethical approval for animal research is an added advantage
