The Adewuyi Research Animal Foundation (ARA Foundation) has officially opened its January–February 2026 Research Grant Phase, offering Nigerian biomedical researchers the opportunity to share in a ₦1,000,000 Research Animal Grant.
This grant is designed to support animal-based biomedical research across Nigerian tertiary institutions and encourage ethical, high-quality scientific investigations.

Is this grant open to Nigerians only?
Yes. Only Nigerian citizens are eligible.
Can undergraduate students apply?
Yes. Both undergraduate and postgraduate biomedical researchers can apply.
Is ethical approval compulsory?
It is not compulsory, but having ethical approval for animal research is a strong advantage.
Is the ₦1,000,000 given to one person?
No. The ₦1,000,000 grant will be shared among selected beneficiaries.
Can applicants from any Nigerian university apply?
Yes. Applicants from all tertiary institutions in Nigeria are eligible.
