ICANSTUDENT was founded in October 2023 by Okegbemi Ebenezer and Okegbemi Caleb with a simple mission: to ensure that no African student misses a life-changing opportunity simply because they did not know it existed.
We are a free student opportunity and mentorship platform connecting young Africans to scholarships, fellowships, internships, grants, and competitions. Since our founding, we have grown to over 35,000 students across 18 African countries and also helped 7,500 students successfully secure opportunities.
We provide our members with a curated opportunities database, live scholarship webinars, one-on-one mentorship, essay and CV coaching, and interview preparation.
What makes us different is simple. We do not just share links and walk away. We mentor students through the entire process, from finding the right opportunity to submitting a winning application. Our webinars feature real awardees sharing real strategies. Our community creates accountability and motivation, so students stay focused even after multiple rejections. And unlike many platforms, everything we offer is completely free.
