About the scholarship program:
The DFW Branch of the GreatIfe Alumni Association is happy to provide annual scholarships to the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria students.
Scholarship Applicant Eligibility and Information:
- Applicants must be enrolled and on track to complete and obtain a Bachelor’s degree from the University
- Applicants must be in good academic standing (no less than a 3.0 overall grade-point average on a 5.0 scale)
- Applicants must have completed and passed all registered 100 Level courses
- The scholarship is renewable for a total of two (2) years in the duration of participants’ academic program through re-application
- The scholarship amount may vary from year to year and will be disbursed at the beginning of the fall semester
- The Association reserves the right to withdraw the scholarship award if the requirements stipulated above are not met or the participants’ character comes under question
- The Association reserves the right to withhold the scholarship in any given year if a suitable candidate is not identified
- All submitted documents remain the property of the association

Application process:
- Complete the Application form below on or before December 31st, 2024
- All required fields on the form must be filled in
- The email address provided on the form must be the active University assigned email address. This will be used for all communication
- Once your application is received, the scholarship committee will review applications and reach out with a decision
