About the program:
The TotalEnergies Young Talent Trainee Program presents an opportunity for young people to discover working life through a genuine hands-on professional experience while benefiting from international exposure just after graduating from university. Occasionally, natural turnover in the business necessitates the swift filling of roles within Retail territory management; Electrical/Mechanical/Electromechanical and Finance areas. Trainees participate in a 24-month rotational program that spans various departments or functions. The trainee should persistently enhance their performance to excel during the 24 months probationary period, paving the way for a successful training program.
On this premise, Applications for the 2025 TotalEnergies Young Talent Program have now been announced for interested and qualified Africans.
Eligibility Requirements for TotalEnergies Young Talent Trainee Program
To be considered as an awardee for the TotalEnergies Young Talent Trainee Program, Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Qualification:
- B/Btech degree in the following Engineering areas: Mechanical/Electrical/Electromechanical and geographically mobile.
- B/Btech degree Finance disciplines /Accounting Technician NQ5 qualification
- Work experience of 0-5 years
- Strong academic record
- Proficiency in Microsoft Software Application (PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
- Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Curiosity and willingness to learn
- Problem Solving Skills
- Analytical Thinking

Roles and Responsibilities of Trainees
- Complete training modules designed to develop the technical skills, industry knowledge, and professional skills
- Rotate through different departments or functions within TMSA to gain exposure to various roles and responsibilities
- Shadow experienced employees to learn about their job duties
- Engage in mentorship activities
- Gain exposure to diverse projects
- Collaborate with other departments or functions to solve problems, address challenges, and implement best solutions
- Contribute ideas, suggestions, and views to discussions
- Constantly seek feedback and guidance from supervisors, mentors, and peers to continuously improve your performance and skills
- Demonstrate enthusiasm, curiosity and a willingness to learn
