She Code Africa 2026 scholarship (Apply Now)

In collaboration with Grow with Google and Coursera, She Code Africa is offering African women and girls who want to upskill a 100% scholarship.

With no prior relevant experience or degree required, this scholarship is a 5-month/20-week intense programme that will provide you the chance to acquire the employable skills you need to launch or grow your tech career.

About the Scholarship

A non-profit organisation called She Code Africa works to empower and celebrate young women and girls in technology throughout Africa. Support is offered by the organisation through our varied online and physical groups. Your network, resources, and mentorship never run out thanks to incredible programs and initiatives that keep you involved.

They offer materials and conduct frequent check-ins to track your progress and make sure you are meeting your professional and personal objectives through the numerous mentors that are accessible on our community platform and our rigorous, committed mentoring program.

Eligibility for the scholarship.

To be eligible for the google She Code Africa scholarship, you must meet the requirements of the scholarship

• Be an African girl or woman between the ages of 20 and 35.
• Be able to show proof of foundational knowledge or skills in the chosen track.
• Possess a working laptop and have access to internet connectivity for the full duration of the program.
• Be able to complete the chosen course within 5 months/20 weeks.
• Be available for monthly check-in calls.
• Applicants who are beginners or at entry or mid-levels of their chosen tech tracks will be given priority consideration.
