About the Scholarship Program:
Ruth Titilayo (Iya Taiwo) was born in 1952, attended Abeokuta Girls Grammar School and the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. She was very passionate about education. She was even more passionate about helping the less privileged. On the 20th anniversary of her death at 50, it is only natural that these two passions birth the Ruth Titilayo Foundation. Whilst this is a new venture for us all, the core tenets have always been there, helping others is in our DNA. At The Ruth Titilayo Foundation, we exist to make quality education accessible to every child, regardless of their background or circumstances. We believe that education is a basic human right and that every child deserves the opportunity to unlock their full potential. Our ultimate goal is to create a world where our services are no longer needed, where every child has access to quality education without any barriers.
Until that day comes, we are committed to doing everything in our power to ensure that the most disadvantaged communities have access to quality education. We are passionate about our mission and dedicated to making a positive impact in the world. Our team consists of individuals who are driven by a shared vision of creating a better future for underserved communities.
Our postgraduate scholarship is specifically designed to pay for tuition fees, and help with living costs. The grant may cover all your expenses or just make a small but useful contribution.
