About the Scholarship Program:

Female Scholars Foundation is a non-profit organization set up to provide sponsorship for university education, guidance, and mentorship to poor young women in the rural areas, in order to adequately equip them to integrate into the modern society and obtain reputable professional jobs across the globe. We achieve our mission through partnerships with individuals, private institutions, government organizations and development organizations. The Female Scholars Foundation (FSF) is thrilled to announce that the application portal for the 2025 University Scholarship Program is officially live! This life-changing initiative is aimed at supporting brilliant and deserving young girls from public secondary schools across Nigeria, particularly those in rural communities, by providing full access to higher education 100% free of charge.

The FSF University Scholarship is part of our broader mission to bridge the gender gap in education and empower the next generation of female leaders. Each year, FSF identifies high-potential girls and provides them with financial, academic, and mentorship support to thrive in university and beyond.

Benefits of the Scholarship Program:

• Scholarship
  • The female scholars are provided full scholarship covering tuition, books and living expenses throughout university.
• Mentorship
  • Each female scholar is assigned a mentor who is an industry expert in their chosen career field to support with career guidance.
• Internship
  • The female scholars are provided international and regional internship opportunities through our network.
• Coaching
  • The female scholars are supported to develop interpersonal and leadership skills, through private coaching, webinars and group retreats.

Eligibility Criteria for the Scholarship Program:

Interested applicants MUST fulfill the following requirements:

• Applicants MUST be female and not over the age of 20 by December 31, 2025.
• Applicants MUST have graduated from a public secondary school.
• Applicants MUST have a minimum JAMB score of 240 in the 2025 UTME.
• Applicants MUST possess at least five distinctions (A1–B3) in WAEC or NECO.

Deadline: December 31st, 2025

Application Process:

1. Click on “Apply Now“ and create a profile by filling out a short registration form.
2. Once this is completed, you will be taken to the login page where you will be required to log in with the Email/Phone number and Password set during registration.
3. Once you are successfully logged in, please take your time to carefully read through the application questionnaires and fill appropriately. Also, ensure you upload all required documents before you submit them.
4. Kindly note that the application opens 1st of August, 2025, so you can always click on the “Save and continue later” button to save your details and continue with your application when you have all the necessary documents
5. Proof read all details provided and then click on the “Submit button” to apply.
