Eligibility Criteria of the Program:
Applicants for the Bode Osunkoya Prize MUST fulfill the following requirements:
- Applicants MUST be registered citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
- Applicants MUST be final year undergraduates of the University of Lagos (UNILAG)
- Applicants MUST be between the ages of 18 and 30
- Submissions made for this application MUST be unpublished (Originality)
- Applicants MUST be in the following fields of study:
- Petroleum Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Environmental Engineering
- Papers MUST be submitted in English
Evaluation Criteria:
- Relevance and clarity of the problem identified
- Innovation and feasibility of the proposed solution
- Technical accuracy and depth
- Practical impact on the oil and gas industry
- Presentation, Structure and Grammar
- Ability to link in environmental factors is an added bonus
Submission Guidelines:
- The title of the paper MUST be the theme of the forum: ‘Nigeria: The gulf of Guinea’s Energy Hub- Mapping the pathway’.
- Paper length: 1500-3000 words, 1.5 spacing, PDF format.
