About the Scholarship Program:
The OA Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that provides financial access to underserved and disadvantaged students in Africa. We give scholarships to students in Africa who cannot afford the tuition for basic education. By providing the opportunity for education, we hope to empower these students and create a better future for Africa. Its objectives is to showcase the love of God, our Father through giving and supporting the less privileged individuals, to support young aspiring individuals who have genuine financial constraint in their academic pursuits and to contribute positively to the economy at large through education and mentoring

Selection Criteria:
We provide scholarship and tuition fee supports to indigent outstanding Jambites and students to pursue their undergraduate programs. To remain under our scholarship, our beneficiaries are expected to demonstrate academic excellence and exceptional results in their field of study throughout their years of study.
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Must have met the minimum requirements to secure admission in one of the accredited Federal or State Universities
- Must be between 100 and 300 level of their undergraduate program
- Must be between the age of 16 and 20 years of age
- Must be able to provide strong compelling reason(s) for needing our sponsorship/scholarship
Application Deadline:
The application deadline is not known so early applications are highly encouraged.
Application Process:
Interested candidates are to apply by completing the Online Application and attach relevant supporting documents (Statement of results, Admission letter, Proposed school fees and academic requirements, Birth certificates/declaration of age) etc
- Successful candidate will be shortlisted based on information submitted and will be invited for scholarship qualifying tests and panel interview.
- List of successful candidates will be published in a national daily newspaper and on our website.
- Must be able to provide strong compelling reason(s) for needing our sponsorship/scholarship
